Alison is a  classically trained flautist & pianist originally from Belfast who has been living in Australia since 1992. She has performed in Ireland, Europe & the South Pacific, recently she toured Norfolk Island with "Scotch & Dry.".


Alison plays in several bands including:-

Every Sunday 6-9pm Mean Fiddler, Rouse Hill - Celtic Fire leading the session
- Irish sing-a-long & tunes
Wednesdays 7.30-10.30pm - midweek Irish session - the Mean Fiddler

Alison plays:-

tin whistles,
low whistles,
piano accordion
flutes (wooden and classical),
bodhran,
keyboard,
percussion,
bouzouki

She can also sing in English or in Gaelic,

Alison also teaches whistle, and bodhran and has run teaching workshops at several festivals,
